I had a crush on him since I was sixteen.
He was tall, dark, and smoking hot.
But he was my uncle’s best friend.
He was also a Fury brother.
But that didn’t stop me from asking him a favor I had no business asking.
A favor he had no business saying yes to.
But he did.
Ravage:
I knew better.
She was my best friend's niece.
She was family. She was off-limits.
She was also beautiful, smart, and had curves that could bring a man to his knees.
She wanted me to teach her how to be good in bed.
I should have told her no.
I didn’t.
And now, it could cost me everything.

“I shouldn’t have asked you to have sex with me. I wasn’t thinking clearly.”
“Does that mean you’ve changed your mind?”
“It means I’ll figure it out.”
“And how are you gonna do that?” His eyes narrowed. “Hook up with some asshole?”
“I don’t know. I’ll watch porn… read a book, or I’ll just Google it.”
“Porn?” he pressed, biting back his smile.
“It can be educational.”
“Clearly, you haven’t watched it.”
“I’ve taken a peek here and there.”
“Um-hmmm… You’re impossible.”
“And you’re making a bigger deal out of this than it needs to be.”
“I can teach you without actually fucking you, Emery.”
My eyes snapped to his, and he didn’t look away. The air between us changed. It was thicker, hotter, and it made my chest grow tight. I had no idea how to respond, so I didn’t say a word. I just stood there, staring at him like a deer in headlights.
His eyes remained locked on mine as he stepped forward, forcing me to step back. He took another, and my back met the wall, leaving me nowhere else to go. His voice was low and rough as he told me, “Anticipation is where it all starts.”
He lifted his hand and placed it on the wall next to my head, bracing himself as he leaned forward. He didn’t go for my mouth. Instead, he dipped lower and hovered his mouth along the curve of my neck. I could feel the warmth of his breath on my skin, and it sent a shiver down my spine.
I closed my eyes and curled my fingers into my palms because I had no idea what else to do with them. His mouth was inches from my ear when he whispered, “Breathe, Em.”
I inhaled, long and deep, and I tensed when he moved to the other side of my neck, letting the heat of his breath hover over my skin. His lips were so close, but they never once made contact. My knees trembled, and I had to lean into the wall to keep myself from dropping into a puddle on the floor.
“Anticipation is the best part,” he whispered. “The wanting… the waiting.”
He kept moving, slow and deliberate, and my heart felt like it was going to pound right out of my chest. He knew what he was doing to me, and he was enjoying it. I was too. Every nerve in my body was vibrating, and he hadn’t even touched me.
“I can show you everything… make you want things you never knew you could want.”
“Ravage…”
“Look at me, Em.”
I opened my eyes, and his handsome face was inches from mine. His eyes were dark and fixed on mine like I was the only thing in the room. They dropped to my mouth, and mine dropped to his. I let out a slight gasp, and my lips parted. He tilted his head and hovered there, so close his breath mingled with mine. I could almost taste him, and as much as I wanted to lean forward and slam my mouth to his, I didn’t.
Neither of us did. He kept the distance, leaving me aching and breathless, and just when I didn’t think I could stand it a second longer, he smiled. “That is lesson number one.”
He took a step back, and I felt the loss of heat in every fiber of my being. Asshole.
His voice turned stern when he added, “I need you to understand something.”
“Okay?”
“This is about the facts. Nothing more.” He crossed his arms. “No feelings. Nothing changes.”
“Okay.”
“I mean it, Emery.” His eyes stayed on mine. “You and I can never be anything more than we are right now.”
