Fallacy

Alex doesn’t hesitate to place his hands on my hips and pull me against him. His hips mold to mine as he moves in perfect synchronization with me. Song after song, I lose myself in the sensations coursing through my body. I’m hot in every place he touches me and cold in all the places he doesn’t. Leaning my head back against his chest, I raise both of my arms over his shoulders, interlocking my fingers behind his neck. The tempo of the music is too perfect for a slow, seductive dance between two future lovers. Everything else fades away as we move as one.
Alex grinds his very hard erection into my back. “Are you ready to continue this party elsewhere?”
“What did you have in mind?”
He plants an open-mouthed kiss on my shoulder. “You spread out over every surface of my apartment.”
I roll my neck further, giving him room to work with. “Hope you have a large apartment because I’m not a girl easily satisfied,”
Licking my neck, he whispers, “One hundred percent satisfaction guaranteed.”
“We’ll see, sugar. We’ll see,” I tell him as I pull out my phone to text my driver for the evening that I’m ready to leave. I watch Alex pull his phone out as well; I’m guessing to tell the group he’s leaving. He slides his phone back into his pocket just as I finish with mine. “My driver’s outside. Do you have a car to worry about?”
“No.” He smiles. “Let’s get out of here.”

Irrefutable

The intensity of Alex’s stare burns through me as he waits for me to say something—anything. But I have no idea what to do or say. All I want is to spill my guts and tell him the entire truth. Tell him not only will my father ruin my reputation, but he’s framed me for doing something illegal and I have no clue what he’s done or how to stop it.
I want nothing more than for Alex to wrap me in his safe, muscular arms and tell me everything will be okay. His voice has this way of calming me like nothing else. As close as Jordan and I are, he’s never been able to soothe me the way Alex does. Alex always could make my world okay.
His words dance around inside my frazzled brain. If you don’t love him like that, then don’t marry him.

Unpredictable

“You promised this wouldn’t change us.”
Alex lets out a scoff. He pins me with his fiery hazel eyes. The usually bright green glow burns deeper, darker inside them now. “Yeah, well, you promised me you’d talk to me if it got to be too much. We’d take a break and see how things went. But that didn’t happen either. You changed your mind. I did, too. So, I guess we’re both liars.”

By day, Kimberly is a teacher who has four beautiful, insane children who keep her in running a million different directions on a daily basis. At night, she tries to get all the steamy stories in her head down on paper or computer screen so she can eventually share them with her wonderful readers, but more often than not, falls asleep in the process because sleep is life. She’s a Jersey girl at heart and that is where she currently calls home with her husband and children.

When she isn’t teaching, writing, or being a taxi driver for her kids or napping, she can be found curled up with a good book or watching her beloved New York Jets or drinking coffee. Lover all things romance, including a little M/M action as well as the dark and twisted, she enjoys video chats with her best friends and always loves to hear from her fans on social media.
